Favourite Destinations

As a self appointed "Travel Queen", I thought that I would share with you my list of favourite places that I have travelled to over the years.

If there is one thing that we must all try and do in our existence on this planet is to travel to other worlds and experience other cultures.

Sometimes the daily grind of everyday life may make this impossible, but the rewards are always worth it as later on in life you can always say to your children , grandchildren or great grandchildren, that you have seen some of the most exciting and intriguing places that the world has to offer.

Brazil - Cristo the Redentor, and the Iguassu falls a must see !
Egypt - Pyramids of Giza ,Ras Muhammed National Park
Thailand - The bussle of Bangkok
Bahamas - The friendliest people
Antiqua & Barbuda- best alcohol shots in the world
Martinique - the whitest beaches
Trinidad & Tobago - The prettiest smiles

I still have many more to add including places that I have yet to discover, but all in good time!

Coming to an End!

As you know the saying goes, "all good thing comes to an end."

Well I am almost at the end of my adventure, I have done what most people have dreamed to do, I relocated to Egypyt for 5 weeks.

It has been a heavenly 5 weeks that has taught me much about the culture, the people, the traditions and of course their views of the western visitors that arrive in their town on a daily basis.

It is hard to believe that a mere 10 years ago - Sharm El Sheikh was once a small fishing village, now it is vibrant with stores the latest in designer handbags, it is even equipped with an ICE BAR in the middle of the desert, go figure!

Sharm is anything but mundane, there is alot to do, from quad biking, horse/ camel riding to just plain snorkeling in the deep blue sea, if all that fails chilling my the pool is my favourite option.

One thing that is plainly obvious Sharm is on the verge of becoming the next "must go to" destination as Spain was years ago, as its developing now is the time to visit

This is one of my all time favourite destinations as it keeps drawing me back.

I have enjoyed my time here and most defintely will be back, may even consider relocating here only time will tell :)

Hanging with friends !

The night before Naureen and I flew to Egypt, I spent a great night with friends, travelling in style and living the lavish lifestyle !

Our limo driver loved us so much that instead of staying the required hours, he stayed above and beyond, but my girls were too tired .... and cant keep up with me and the high life... but I love them all the same.

I have to respect my friend Darwin of over 20 years friendship.... he knows how to party in style and I learned from the best!

Dont worry D we gonna party in Dubai too !

End of the 1st week !

Happy belated July 4th to all! apologies for the late response!

ok so a quick update, its been a week since I last updated you all on what has been happening with me.

I landed in Egypt with my girl and over the last few days we been chilling and hanging out.

Sipping champagne, with Disarrono, by the pool feel dangling in the water , under the stars - the simple life really :)

It has been cool hanging with her, the weather has been awesome, so we have been pampering ourselves and enjoying what sunny Sharm El Sheikh has to offer.

So its time for her to go home and we said our goodbyes at her hotel.... so imagine my surprise when she called me from the airport to say that she couldnt find her passport...

I had to make a mad rush across Sharm El Sheikh to rescue my girl, we finally got the passport to her , but she had missed the flight as they had closed the gate. So my girl gets to spend another night with me in Sunny Sharm until we can get her in a flight tomorrow ... yipeee
