Final Updates

Hello all,

Since my return, I have been struggling with getting back in the swing of things.

The most challenging thing has been managing my time as I have been pulled into all directions.

So my apologies that y'all haven't received the final installment to my Vegas trip blog.

I will be rolling that out tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled!

Have a great day!

Until da next Tyme !

Hey there guys,

Following on with my 1st blog ...... I  am now in the original SIN CITY!

First impressions, Vegas is not like any other US city, yes its huge, but they do do things differently, New York is the Fashion city, LA is the ceklebreity City, Vegas is the gambling city, but i find that there is lots more to do than gamble.

Things to see/ do

  •  Grand Canyon by helicopter is a must

  • Hoover Dam and Lake Meade

  • Taking the mono rail between hotels
  • The Freemont Experience
  • Night flight over the strip
  • The Fountain show at the Bellagio

  • Visit the Stratosphere hotel
  • Shark Reef for all Nature lovers

  • Gondola Ride at the Venetian for all romantics

  • The show at Treasure island
  • Experience a Spa !

Life at 40!

Hey Y'all

Guess what  peeps! I  am 40...

Yep I said it!!

Ok I havent aged overnight, I haven't  dissolved into  dust. I haven't grown horns  and become a recluse ..... I am still me..... The Diva, the Jet-setter, the Travel queen !

Many women feels that as their age increase, their life should stop and they should become withered old women.

But for me I find it liberating, I am at the age where I am like a mature wine.... with age I get better, I can look back at my experiences as well as embrace all the others that is due to come:)

So I am gonna start my journey that life begins at 40, and invite you to join me along the way.

Until da next Tyme!

My Trip To Vegas ..... #1

Hi there all,

I have returned and there is so much to tell you all  that one blog will not be enough, so over the next few days I will fill you in on whats good in Vegas and what to try :)

Preparing for the Trip
  • Ok so Virgin is the only airline that does a half decent service to Vegas non stop
  • Pay the extra £30 to get the extra leg room as trust me it s a 9.5 hour flight and you will appreciate it, unless you can afford to upgrade :)
  • Pack only one case and pack light items that can be matched with other items as you are only allowed 23Kg if you fly economy
  • Las Vegas is not a dressy kinda place, unless you choose to , so it upto you as an individual!
  • Wear something light and layered so you can take off or put on during the flight
Arrival
  • When you arrive - depending on the time of year  - the heat will be the first thing that you experience, so have plenty of water, the airport is prettuy basic so there is no need to dwaddle.
  • Check in yor hotel and head out immedaitley especially if you arrive inthe afternoon.
  • Most hotels on the strip will have you in Awe! so take your time to take it in, dont rush around as with jetlag and the heat you will burn out quickly
  • Head to Dennys on the strip and stock up on food, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner you can get anything you want at Dennys !
Until da next Tyme !
